PURPOSE: A water-soluble paint composition is provided to provide a coating film with excellent exterior appearance, mechanical properties, and workability. CONSTITUTION: A water-soluble paint composition includes 2-15 wt% of a polyester resin; 20-55 wt% of a polyester dispersion resin including a first polyester dispersion resin with a first particle, and a second polyester dispersion resin with a second particle different from the first particle in size; 5-15 wt% of a hardener; 0.5-10 wt% of a dispersant; 10-25 wt% of a pigment; and residual water. A coating method of a film includes a step of coating an object with the aqueous paint composition; and a step of hardening the coated material.
