<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and an image forming method in which, when a two-component developer is used, development processing is controlled by using a developer agitation time in a developing unit as a parameter to maintain constant printing image density. <P>SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus and an image forming method, a control part allows a storage device to store data table showing a relation between a developer agitation time measured in advance and setting values in respective image forming units each capable of forming an image having predetermined constant density when using a toner charge amount which increases with the agitation time, selects from the data table processing conditions of the respective image forming units corresponding to the measured developer agitation time of a developing unit to determine the processing conditions, sets the respective processing conditions for charging by a charging member, exposure by an exposure member and developing by a developing member on the basis of the determination, and allows the respective image forming units to execute image formation processing on the basis of the set processing conditions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
