The present invention relates to a novel chemical compound having an acridine structure, and to an organic light-emitting diode using same, and more particularly, to a novel chemical compound having an acridine structure, and to an organic light-emitting diode using same in which the chemical compound is used as a dopant for an organic emission layer (EML) of the organic light-emitting diode having a multilayer structure so as to provide a blue organic light-emitting diode having improved luminous efficiency and brightness, an extended lifespan, and excellent thermal stability.
