ICEBREAKING EDGE FOR SHIP

PURPOSE: An icebreaking edge for a ship is provided to cut and crush sea ices exiting in the heading direction of the ship using the load and propulsion force of the ship. CONSTITUTION: An icebreaking edge(115) for a ship is formed in an inclined surface of the edge of a stem(110). The icebreaking edge cuts and crushes sea ice existing in the heading direction of the ship using the propulsion force and the load of the ship. The icebreaking edge is a saw-toothed shape, thereby increasing the crushed efficiency of the sea ice and preventing damage to the icebreaking edge due to the sea ice.
