PURPOSE: An optical touch screen apparatus is provided to increase touch detection efficiency by optically detecting the touched locations using multiple light emitting elements and light receiving elements. CONSTITUTION: A screen flat board(20) forms a touch detection area within edges. An optical system for a light emitting part is installed at the front ends of light emitting elements. The optical system for the light emitting part is formed by a plurality of optical waveguide holes which are arranged along the divergence angles of a plurality of scan light beams. An optical system for a light receiving part is installed at the front ends of light receiving elements. The optical system for the light receiving part is formed by a plurality of optical waveguide holes which are arranged in the input direction of a plurality of scan light beams. A plurality of light emitting elements(31) and a plurality of light receiving elements are at the edges of the screen flat board.
