<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker which suppresses a turntable from accidentally engaging with a turntable drive part when a door for opening or closing an opening end by a slide displacement is sliding. <P>SOLUTION: A door 19 is slidably supported by a cooker body 14 via slide rails 23 and 24 in a way that its relative position with a rear side facing an opening end 17a closed changes in parallel. A turntable 70 is supported by the door 19 in a way that it displaces in conjunction with a slide displacement caused by opening or closing the door 19. A turntable drive part 40 is evacuated from the turntable 70 with the opening end 17a opened by the door 19 and is engaged with the turntable 70 with the opening end 17a closed by the door 19.
