<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment method and a water treatment apparatus in which the proper amount of ultraviolet irradiation to the water to be treated can be stably performed, the lamp life can be kept long, the power consumption is few, the simplification of the equipment can be aimed at, and the injurious material does not flow out even if being damaged. <P>SOLUTION: In the water treatment method, ultraviolet is irradiated to the water to be treated in which the flow rate varies, thereby the hazardous component in the water is removed or made to be harmless. An excimer lamp 63 is used as an ultraviolet light source that irradiates ultraviolet. Two or more excimer lamps 63 are set up in the water, the number of the lighting excimer lamps 63 is changed according to the flow rate of the varying water, thereby the dose to the water of ultraviolet by the excimer lamps 63 is changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
