<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive winding overheat prevention device which prevents a stator winding of a motor from being overheated and efficiently drives the motor, and to provide a control device of the motor. <P>SOLUTION: A winding overheat prevention device 1 installed in a control device 100 of a motor 2 includes: a stator winding temperature calculating part 11 which calculates a winding temperature on the basis of a temperature variation amount of a stator winding 3 estimated from an electric current passing through the stator winding 3 of the motor 2 and an ambient temperature of the motor 2; a position detector temperature detection part 12 which detects the temperature shown by a temperature detection element 23 in a position detector 22 that detects positional information of a rotor 4 of the motor 2; and an alarm signal output part 13 which outputs an alarm signal when the winding temperature exceeds an alarm level. The alarm level is a temperature specified on the basis of a maximum value of the temperature variation amount and the ambient temperature when the ambient temperature is equal to or lower than a predetermined temperature, and is a temperature suitable for protecting the position detector 22 from being overheated when the ambient temperature is higher than the predetermined temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
