<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric actuator especially one having a high driving efficiency, being small in size, and capable of developing high output with low power consumption, with respect to an actuator that, due to rapid deformation of piezoelectric elements, frictionally drives a moving body coming into contact therewith. <P>SOLUTION: A piezoelectric actuator comprises a first piezoelectric element reciprocatively displacing in a first direction, a second piezoelectric element reciprocatively displacing in a second direction different from the first direction, and a moving body coming into contact with a frictional portion provided in the first piezoelectric element, wherein the moving body is driven by making at least a going-speed of displacement of the first direction to differ from a returning-speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
