FIELD: metallurgy.SUBSTANCE: cutting tool from hard alloy contains laminar coating applied by deposition from vapor phase. Said laminar costing comprises interlayer that makes diffusion barrier between cutting tool and wear-proof coating, and wear-proof coating. Said interlayer consists of nitrides of metal of the series Al, Ti, Zr, Si. Wear-proof coating consists of first layer located on interlayer and consisting of titanium diboride or zirconium or aluminium oxides, second adhesion nanosized layer consisting of Ti or Zr, and surface layer consisting of alternating nanolayers of superhard amorphous carbon and nanolayers of metals of the series of Ti, Zr, Cr, W.Outer nanolayer of surface layer consists of superhard amorphous carbon.EFFECT: higher wear resistance.2 dwg, 2 ex |
