The verifying apparatus (101) comprises a comparator (103) for comparing the respective line data of the same line position of several data sets that are assigned with a common data path route, and a delivery device (105) for providing some divergent route data and the reference path data in the same position at a distance deviation for a further review. A display unit (107) displays the provided route data and the reference path data, and an editing unit (109) edits the route data and/or reference distance data.
