An RFID reader and its RFID tag recognizing method are provided to reduce the time for the RFID readers to recognize the RFID tags by determining recognition or collision of a plurality of RFID tags through the analysis of the signal including the PC(Product Code), EPC(Electronic Product Code), and CRC(Cyclic Redundancy Check) transmitted from a plurality of RFID tags. A round composed of a plurality of slots is set up(S211). A query signal is generated in each of a plurality of slots(S221). The query signal is transmitted to a plurality of RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) tags, so the round is performed(S231). After the round is performed, a number of recognition slot recognizing RFID tags, a number of no answer slot unable to receive the response from RFID tags, and a number of collision slot generated between RFID tags are calculated(S241). According to the number of no answer slots and the number of collision slots, the size of round is adjusted, so the new round is performed(S262, S263). |
