<p>The present invention provides an easily and cheaply producible high-concentration emulsion which contains amphiphilic molecules, water and an oil component. This emulsion is characterized by comprising a dispersoid which is dispersed in a dispersion medium and which exceeds the maximum soluble amount of the amphiphilic molecules, by exhibiting a light transmittance of 70% or more compared to an aqueous solvent, and in that the average particle diameter of said dispersoid is in the range 5-100nm. Further, this invention provides a method of producing the aforementioned emulsion characterized by involving a first step for preparing discontinuous cubic liquid crystals containing amphiphilic molecules, water and an oil component, and a second step for preparing a transparent or translucent aqueous solution by diluting the aforementioned liquid crystals by adding water or an aqueous solution containing a water-soluble additive.</p> |
