<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an improvement so that the optical performance of a transmitted light ray is made closer to the optical performance of a target progressive refractive power lens by making additional power, which is a significant specification for a progressive refractive power lens, a value specified by a prescription value in a progressive refractive power lens series set so as to be equal in the optical effect of a lens when being used and in the basic specification of the lens. <P>SOLUTION: The additional power ADDb (addh) of the reference face of a second progressive refractive power lens in which distance powers S specified by a prescription value are equal, astigmatism powers C specified by a prescription value are equal and a prescribed additional power add is high is greater than the face additional power (ADDb (addl) of the reference face of a first progressive refractive power lens that has the small additional power add.
