<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging unit in which a downsized light blocking frame can be easily installed on an incident surface side of a prism with high location accuracy even if the prism positioned on a subject side of an imaging element is downsized. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging unit includes: an imaging element 69; an imaging optical system that is positioned on a subject side with respect to the imaging element and includes a prism LP2 for deflecting an optical path of photographic light and guiding the photographic light to the imaging element; a housing 16 that houses the imaging element and the prism in the state of being supported; a light blocking frame 21a that constitutes a part of the housing, is positioned on the subject side with respect to an incident surface LP2-a of the prism, and blocks a part of the photographic light incident on the incident surface; and prism positioning surfaces 21b, 22d1, 26a, and 26b that are brought into intimate contact with the prism so as to perform positioning of the prism with respect to the housing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
