<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a booster which controls inclination of a piston with respect to a cylinder bore of a master cylinder, thereby achieving smooth sliding of the piston. <P>SOLUTION: A ball screw mechanism 41 is driven by an electric motor 40 to move a screw shaft 47 forward. An abutting part 80 of a spring support 35 attached to the rear end of a primary piston 10 is pressed by a step part 50 of the screw shaft 47, so that the primary piston 10 is promoted to generate brake fluid pressure using a master cylinder 2. A shim 81 with small friction coefficient is inserted between a step part 50 and the abutting part 80 to decrease friction in the abutting part, thereby controlling the inclination of the primary piston 10 with respect to a cylinder bore 12 of the master cylinder 2, thereby achieving smooth sliding of the primary piston 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
