PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projection device and a color correction method capable of automatically executing calibration of a correction value for color correction and color correction when satisfying preset conditions.

SOLUTION: The image projection device for projecting an image corresponding to an input image to a screen 110 comprises: storage means 126 for storing a signal level of an image for calibration and an area where it exists in the screen 110; and control means 118 for causing a calibration of a collection value of each of 3D-LUT103 and 1D-LUT104 and color correction to be automatically executed under a condition that the input image includes the image for calibration.
