PURPOSE: A refrigerator with thermosiphon is provided to prevent the backflow of refrigerant by positioning the inlets and outlets of evaporation and condensation units according to the refrigerant. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator with thermosiphon comprises a refrigerator body, thermosiphon, and a sub cooling unit. The refrigerator body is divided into a freezer compartment and a cold storage room by a partition. The thermosiphon is positioned in the freezer compartment, and comprises a condensation unit(21), an evaporation unit, a first connection pipe(24), and a second connection pipe. The evaporation unit evaporates the refrigerant. The first connection pipe connects the outlet of the evaporation unit to the inlet of a condensation pipe, and guides the refrigerant to the condensation unit. The second connection pipe guides the refrigerant from the condensation unit to the evaporation unit. The sub cooling unit is poisoned in the freezer compartment, and heat exchanged with the condensation unit. The sub cooling unit comprises a housing which holds phase change materials inside. The condensation unit penetrates the housing, and is in contact with the phase change materials. |
