PURPOSE: A filtering device for a process fluid and a filtering method using the filtering device are provided to clean the process fluid as a slurry included in the process fluid is absorbed by a plurality of ball filters. CONSTITUTION: A filtering device for a process fluid includes a plurality of ball filters(52), a cooling plate(36), a filtering housing(14), a stirring axis(26), an air inlet(16), and an air outlet(20). An adsorbent(58) is filled in the plurality of ball filters. The cooling plate is connected to a chiller(34) to cool the process fluid supplied from the outside by heat-exchange. The filtering housing is filled with the plurality of ball filters and receives the process fluid cooled from the cooling plate. The filtering housing enables the process fluid to be cleaned as impurities are adsorbed to the plurality of ball filters. A process fluid outlet(18) is included at a lower part of the filtering housing to discharge the clean process fluid. The stirring axis includes at least one stirring pulsator(24) that is extended to the inside of from a top of the filtering housing and allows the plurality of ball filters to be stirred by rotation. The air inlet is located at a lower part of the filtering housing to supply air to the filtering housing. The air outlet is located at an upper part of the filtering housing to exhaust the air in the filtering housing. |
