<p>The objective of the present invention is to prevent damage to a rubber plug. First and second cavities (23, 32) that communicate with electrical wire insertion holes (42) of a rubber plug (40) are formed in a connector housing (20) at both sides in the direction in which the electrical wire insertion holes (42) extend. Terminal fittings (60) are inserted from the second cavities (32) into the first cavities (23) via the electrical wire insertion holes (42). First and second protruding parts (66, 67) are formed on the terminal fittings (60) at intervals in the direction in which the electrical wire insertion holes (42) extend. The distance between the protruding ends of the first and second protruding parts (66, 67) is greater than the length of extension of the electrical wire insertion holes (42). When the terminal fittings (60) have passed part of the way through the electrical wire insertion holes (42) and are inserted into the electrical wire insertion holes (42), the first protruding parts (66) and/or the second protruding parts (67) are arranged so as to be capable of constantly making contact with the inner circumferential surfaces of the first cavities (23) or the second cavities (32).</p> |
