The computerized tomography scanner (1) has an x-ray source (5) held on a rotating ring (4) in a rotatable manner, where an x-ray detector (6) is held with respect to the rotating ring for generating an x-ray image data set. An evaluation unit is provided for the evaluation and processing of the x-ray image data set in a stationary area (2). A data converter (9) is held by the rotating ring, and is arranged downstream of the x-ray detector for integration of the x-ray image data set into a data frame.
