<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce consumption of paper sheets and toner in a workflow in which a specific user approves a document. <P>SOLUTION: When an image processing apparatus 1 performs printout according to pieces of document data DA1, DB1, and DC1 that are stored in an approval request box 17, the image processing apparatus 1 performs print setting so that multiple pages of each of the pieces of document data DA1, DB1, and DC1, which are targets of printing, are arranged on one output sheet and applies the print setting for performing the printout. In addition, when a document read by a scanner is a printed matter D2 which is a print output according to the pieces of document data DA1, DB1, and DC1, document data DA2, DB2, and DC2 corresponding to the original document data DA1, DB1, and DC1 are restored by extracting the document data of the multiple page portions from image data which are obtained by reading a sheet of the document in accordance with the print setting which has been set when the printed matter D2 has been printed out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
