IMPEDANCE MATCHING ELEMENT, METAMATERIAL PANEL, CONVERGENCE ELEMENT AND ANTENNA

Provided in the present invention is an impedance matching element disposed on and firmly fixed to the surface of a first side of a dielectric board. The impedance matching element comprises a first plurality of impedance matching layers, the refractive index distribution of each such impedance matching layer being represented as: (I) where i is a serial number for an impedance matching layer and is a positive integer; ni(r) is the refractive index of the i-th layer of said impedance matching layers at a location distant from the center thereof by radius r; ng(r) is the refractive index of the dielectric board at a location distant from the center thereof by radius r; nmin is the smallest refractive index of the dielectric board, and c is the number of impedance matching layers. Further disclosed in the present invention are a metamaterial panel, a convergence element, and an antenna. The impedance matching element, the metamaterial panel, the convergence element, and the antenna of the present invention further reduce reflection interference and loss by means of the setting of the refractive index distribution of each impedance matching layer, thus, reducing energy dissipation when electromagnetic waves pass through the dielectric layer and improving electromagnetic wave transmission.
