The present invention relates to a snowboard binding, and more particularly, to a snowboard binding in which a side wall of a base extends further backward than a rotating shaft of the base to which a highback is rotatably coupled, and a first wire for interconnecting the highback and uppers is connected via means for inducing the drawing of the wire of the backwardly extending side wall. Thus, when the highback lock is moved, the first wire is wound and drawn via the means for inducing the drawing of the wire, thereby enabling the uppers to tightly contact the boots. The snowboard binding of the present invention comprises: a plate that tightly contacts a snowboard; a base having side walls that vertically extend from either side of the plate; a highback arranged at the rear end of the base such that the highback is rotatable at the side walls; uppers that vertically spaced apart from a front end of the base; a first wire for connecting the highback, the base, and the uppers to one another; a second wire, one end of which is connected to one end of the base and the other end of which is connected to the other end of the base; and highback control means rotatably installed on the rear surface of the highback, and having a lever which rotates so as to apply tension to or release tension from the second wire, thus maintaining the highback in a locked state or an unlocked state. The side walls have means for inducing the drawing of the wire which extend further backward than the rotating shaft of the highback. The first wire interconnects the uppers and the highback via the means for inducing the drawing of the wire. |
