<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a deodorizing tool is put in a storehouse and the storehouse is managed in order to keep the inside of the storehouse in a good environment but the deodorizing tool has a short service life, it is troublesome and labor and time are wasted when the deodorizing tool is renewed, particularly fine dust leaking from the deodorizing tool exerts a bad influence on microfilms, books and pictures, which are housed in the storehouse together therewith, and consequently a new satisfactory deodorizing tool is desired. <P>SOLUTION: An adsorbent base material, which is washed with water or coated with a resin so that dust may be hardly generated or is not generated therefrom, is impregnated with a chemical reactant or modified to have an ion-exchangeable group by graft polymerization to obtain a granular or particulate toxic gas adsorbing material. The obtained toxic gas adsorbing material is enclosed in a bag comprising an air-permeable sheet to obtain a tool for removing toxic gasses. The tool for removing toxic gasses has a long service life but does not contaminate microfilms, books and pictures, even if they are housed in the storehouse together therewith. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
