PURPOSE: A high frequency power measuring apparatus and method are provide to eliminate loss of high frequency power generated by a directional coupler. CONSTITUTION: A directional coupler is attached to a high frequency source. A water load is installed at the other end of the directional coupler. A flow meter measures flow rate of water passing through the water load. A thermometer measures inlet temperature and outlet temperature of the water which is getting into the water load or is discharged from the water load.
