Class 52(ii) [Also in Group XXV] An angle connector for securing tabletops or chair seats to the supporting frame comprises an angle piece 11, 12; the limb 11 having a nail shank 13 of the form shown in Fig. 1, welded to or otherwise integral therewith. The shank is driven into the frame in the position shown and the connectors 'then turned to bring the limb 12 against the top 16. The projections 4 or 14 on the thinner edges of the shank then bite into the frame to hinder withdrawal. The limb 12 has a cruciform slot 18 for use with a round headed fixing screw of stan-. dard form. |
