<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible for control data having an optimum channel bandwidth depending on characteristics of individual LPFs to be set in each LPF, even when there is a manufacturing variation in the circuit elements of the LPF, thereby restricting variations in reception characteristics for optimum operation. <P>SOLUTION: A digital broadcast receiver includes LPFs (16, 17) which each are connected to the respective back stages of an I signal mixer (12) and a Q signal mixer (13) which generate orthogonal two-phase signals, or I and Q signals, and which have their cutoff frequency characteristics trimmed beforehand to become approximate to design values and are configured to make their bandwidths controllable by control data applied from the outside, and a memory unit (19) which stores therein a cutoff frequency calibration value consisting of trimming data derived from the cutoff frequency characteristics of the LPFs (16, 17) when they were trimmed. The LPFs (16, 17) have their bandwidths set by control data applied from the outside, which is determined according to the magnitude of the cutoff frequency calibration value stored in the memory unit (19). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
