<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition coil for an internal combustion engine improved in vibration resistance. <P>SOLUTION: An ignition coil for an internal combustion engine is provided with a primary coil 5; a secondary coil 6; an iron core 7 for magnetically uniting those; and a flange 25 on the side surface of a storage case 20 for storing the primary coil 5, the secondary coil 6, and the iron core 7 so as to bulge outward. An insertion hole 60 in which a boil 40 for fixing to an installation boss 50 of an engine head 1 is inserted is formed on the flange 25. The insertion hole 60 is equipped with a cylindrical bush 30 in which collar portions 31 (31a and 31b) are formed at both ends so as to have outer diameters larger than a diameter of the insertion hole 60. An outer diameter of the flange 25 is formed to be larger than a larger one of a seat surface diameter A of the bolt 40 and an outer diameter B of the installation boss 50. The flange 25 is fastened to the installation boss 50 by the bolt 40 through the collar portions 31 (31a and 31b) to fix the ignition coil for the internal combustion engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
