An object of the present invention is to provide a laminated ceramic electronic component which has superior mechanical properties and electrical properties, has a high degree of freedom in the design for ceramic materials, and has a variety of properties at low cost and at a low percentage defective. The present invention provides a laminated ceramic electronic component (1) including: a laminate (2) including a plurality of stacked ceramic layers (3) and a plurality of internal electrodes (4,5) containing Al as their main constituent, the internal electrodes (4,5) formed along specific interfaces between the ceramic layers (3); and external electrodes (8,9) formed on an outer surface of the laminate, wherein surface layer sections of the internal electrodes (4,5) are formed of an Al 2 O 3 layer.
