The present invention relates to a wheel hub motor arrangement for propelling a vehicle, and to a method for manufacturing the same, comprising an axle, a rotatable wheel hub supported by at least one bearing to a hub support of the axle, an electric machine comprising a rotor member and a stator member, and a transmission mechanism for transferring motive power from the electric machine to the wheel hub, wherein the stator member of the electric machine is arranged to an electric machine support of the axle, which electric machine support is arranged axially outside the hub support, and the transmission mechanism includes a member which at least partly encapsulates the electric machine. |
