The module (2) has four wooden side walls (20) to define a rigid parallelepiped chamber and an internal volume (21) that is filled with thermally insulating material. A projecting connection unit (22) is provided in one of the side walls. The connection unit comprises a straight face parallel to the side wall and a face inclined from a free end of the straight face in a direction of the side wall to form an acute edge (26) that cooperates with a complementary shaped part of another module or a construction component such as junction device (6).
