<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion module in which reliability is high by ensuring connection strength in a distal end portion of an optical fiber even when reduction in size is attained. <P>SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion module (24) includes an IC chip (34) and a photoelectric conversion element (32) which are mounted on one side of a circuit board (26) having light transmissivity and flexibility, an optical fiber (23) having a distal end portion within a holding groove (42) formed in a resin layer (40) provided on another side of the circuit board (26), a reinforcing member (46) which covers the holding groove (42), and an optical element which photo-couples the distal end of the optical fiber (23) and the photoelectric conversion element (32) via the circuit board (26). The holding groove (42) has an open end at a terminal of the resin layer (40) positioned at a side of the IC chip (34) with respect to an array direction of the IC chip (34) and the photoelectric conversion element (32), and at least a part of the distal end portion of the optical fiber (23) extends along the IC chip (34). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
