The receptacle (1) has a receiving space (3) that is provided to receive contact portion (2k) of pin contact (2). The receiving space is formed with a cylindrical circumferential wall (3u) having a spring element (4). A guide portion is provided in the spring element to guide the pin contact along plug direction (S) for insertion into receiving space. The spring element is formed in cup shape and aligned along the circumferential wall. An independent claim is included for electrical plug connector.
