<p>The objective of the present invention is to provide a power conversion system for converting an alternating voltage to another alternating voltage with a small number of legs (3 or less for example). A power conversion system of the present invention has a construction of having unit cells connected in cascade, and is characterized in having each of the unit cells adopt a full-bridge construction, having an AC voltage inputted to center points of cascade legs, each of which has the unit cells connected in cascade, and having an alternating voltage outputted from terminals at both ends of the cascade legs, each of which has the unit cells connected in cascade. In such a way, an alternating voltage can be converted to another alternating voltage with a small number of legs (3 or less for example).</p> |
