PURPOSE: A multi-stage segment display unit using a serial command is provided to remarkably reduce a wire between a data processing device and a multi-stage segment displayer. CONSTITUTION: A multi-stage segment display unit(100) using a serial command comprises a parent station(130) and one or more child stations(140). The child stations are connected to the parent station in a series. An input connector(134) is installed on the input of the parent station and connected to a connector(121) installed on a cable(120) of a data processing device(110). The cable is composed of a data line and a power line. The data line transmits display information. The power line powers a segment displayer. |
