<p>An apparatus comprising: a processor and memory including computer program code, the memory and the computer program code configured to, with the processor, cause the apparatus to: detect a particular touch input at a particular input area of a touch-sensitive display, the particular input area associated with the input of a particular character to be used in the input of a full word string;determine a particular character associated with the particular touch input; determine one or more predicted character strings based on the determined particular character in combination with one or more previous inputted characters of a word string, the predicted character strings constituting a prediction of all or part of an associated full word string; and provide the one or more predicted character strings for user selection such that the one or more predicted character strings are positionally associated with the particular input area.</p> |
