The invention relates to a sole provided with hinged metal fittings along the periphery thereof, comprising a sole made from any natural or synthetic material. The invention also includes straps positioned between the layers of the sole and provided with hinged metal fittings which can receive an interchangeable upper. This allows the user to vary the colour, shape, length, etc. of the straps and, consequently, change the design of the footwear according to the occasion.
