<p>The machine is of the kind described in the parent patent, in which pulp is fed between a pair of opposed endless bands passing around associated entry rollers, the bands passing in a sinuous path between opposed rows of guides arranged below each entry roller, so that at each deviation, water is centrifugally forced from the pulp. Each line of guides and their associated entry roller are carried on a mounting, and the mountings are pivotal away from each other, pref. under the action of hydraulic jacks, to allow replacement of the guides or bands.</p> |
