PURPOSE: An uninterruptible power supply system for a portable electronic device is provided to prevent important telephone conversation or photographing from being stopped by continuously operating a notebook in a battery replacement process. CONSTITUTION: An operable emergency battery supplies power in replacing a battery which is installed at a cellular phone. The emergency battery prevents telephone conversation from being stopped in a power-off state. The consumed energy of emergency battery is charged from a main battery. Charged power is used to prepare a next replacing operation. A miniature charging type battery is arranged in a portable electronic device which is operated by the battery in a battery replacement process. An operation signal supplies power in a battery consumed state or the battery replacement process. The power consumed according to a power supply signal after replacing a battery is charged from replaced battery power.
