DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ANALYZING CORROSION INSIDE STEEL PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for analyzing corrosion inside a steel pipe for accurately and efficiently extracting a deteriorated part and evaluating the degree of the deterioration.

SOLUTION: The device 100 for analyzing corrosion inside a steel pipe which, by analyzing an image obtained by inspecting a steel pipe with an endoscope, extracts a deteriorated part and evaluates the degree of the deterioration inside a steel pipe comprises: preprocessing means 10 eliminating differences in photographing conditions from images obtained under various conditions; deteriorated part preliminary extraction means 11 preliminarily extracting the deteriorated part; deteriorated part extraction and classification means 12 unifying the photographing conditions by the preprocessing means 10 and, based on the principle obtained by the deteriorated part preliminary extraction means 11, extracting and classifying the regions for each degree of deterioration for the image; deteriorated region verification and evaluation means 14 actually producing a prototype to verify and evaluate the result of extraction of the deteriorated region; and display processing means 15 displaying the deteriorated region verified and evaluated by the deteriorated region verification and evaluation means 14.
