METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE HANDICRAFT CLAY AND THE HANDICRAFT CLAY MADE THEREBY

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing clay for crafts is provided to prevent dividedness or brittleness phenomenon after drying. CONSTITUTION: Solvent is heated to 75-90 degrees. The solvent is distilled water or refined water. Boric acid, glycerine, powdered PVP, powdered PVA, and antifoaming agent are successively put into in the solvent. Mixed solution is stirred by heat in a temperature keeping state for 20-60minutes. The temperature of the mixed solution is reduced to 60-65degrees. Resin is manufactured by dropping the boric acid from the mixed solution. The resin is aged for 20-30hours. The pH of clay which is finished goods is 8-9.
