<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear cutting machine and a method of manufacturing a worm wheel, capable of easily manufacturing the worm wheel for improving lubricity, and the worm wheel capable of improving lubricity. <P>SOLUTION: A hob cutter 11 is moved by a feed amount X1 toward a central part in its tooth width direction in the radial direction of the worm wheel 12, and an addendum surface 12a, a tooth surface 12b and a tooth bottom surface 12c are formed in the worm wheel 12, and the hob cutter 11 is moved by a feed amount X2 smaller than the feed amount X1 in the radial direction of the worm wheel 12, and oil supply surfaces 13a and 13b for supplying lubricating oil are formed in an upper end part in the tooth width direction and a lower end part in the tooth width direction of the addendum surface 12a, the tooth surface 12b and the tooth bottom surface 12c in the worm wheel 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
