PURPOSE: An electrolyte for an electrochemical device, a manufacturing method thereof, and the electrochemical device is provided to apply the electrolyte to a cable type battery capable of easily changing the form. CONSTITUTION: An electrolyte for an electrochemical device contains a composite of a plastic crystal matrix electrolyte doped with ionic salt, and a cross-linked polymer structure. The weight ratio of the plastic crystal matrix electrolyte doped with the ionic salt and the cross-linked polymer structure is 30-90:70-10. The electrolyte is produced from a step of mixing the plastic crystal matrix electrolyte doped with the ionic salt and a monomer with more than two functional groups to obtain a solution, and a step of polymerizing the monomer.
