FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: method of modifying montmorillonite involves treatment of natural montmorillonite via ultrasonic dispersion, equimolar amounts of -caprolactam and polyfluorinated alcohols in ethanol. The dried reaction mass undergoes oligomerisation in nanolayers of montmorillonite -caprolactam with polyfluorinated alcohols in a vacuum-sealed ampoule. ^ EFFECT: invention enables to obtain material with improved tribochemical properties.
