<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer storage container or the like that properly detects whether a seal member sealing an opening of the developer storage container has been opened or not at low cost without providing a large-scale mechanical component constitution, and includes a service means that provides a customer with a detailed service while maintaining low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A consumables storage container 2, in which consumables such as toner 41 are stored, has an opening through which the consumables are supplied, and a seal member 46 detachably pasted to seal the opening.
