PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly adjust a thread operation ratio of a multithread processor which performs super scalar operation. SOLUTION: In the multithread processor, a plurality of threads share hardware partly for processing, and at least some of the plurality of threads perform super scalar operation. The multithread processor includes: an operation ratio setting means which sets an operation ratio of each thread; and a monitoring means which monitors the super scalar operation state for each thread. The operation ratio setting means corrects at least some of the operation ratios of the plurality of threads so as to increase the operation ratio of the thread in which the number of occurrences of super scalar operations per hour obtained by the monitoring means is less than the set operation ratio.
