<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for dehumidifying compressed gas, wherein the energy consumption and the running cost can be reduced while taking an adsorptive dehumidification technique using a non-heating regeneration process, as a base. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for dehumidifying compressed gas is constituted so that two following operations are performed alternately, namely, one operation of introducing the compressed gas alternately into two adsorption cylinders 10, 20 to dehumidify the compressed gas and the other operation of introducing a part of the dried gas dehumidified in one adsorption cylinder 10 or 20 into the other adsorption cylinder 20 or 10 as purge gas to regenerate an adsorbent by desorbing the moisture adsorbed thereon are performed alternately, wherein a heat pump having a compressor 51, a condenser 52, an expansion valve 55 and a cooler 57 as constituent elements is incorporated. The cooler 57 is arranged as a heat exchanger part 18 for dehumidification, which is used for cooling/dehumidifying the compressed gas before introduced into two adsorption cylinders 10, 20. A portion 52a corresponding to a part of the condenser 52 is arranged so as to configure a heater 33 for the purge gas, which is used for heat-exchanging the heat from the compressor 51 to heat the purge gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
