发明名称 Improvements in or relating to looms for weaving
摘要
760,979. Loom take-up and let-off motions. STOBBS, J. V. March 24, 1955 [April 10, 1954], No. 10612/54. Class 142 (2). On weft failure, mechanism operated by a reciprocating bar on the slay forming part of a weft stop-motion interrupts the take-up and let-off motions. During normal weaving a ratchet-wheel 1 connected to the take-up and let-off motions is moved by a pawl 2 and is retained by a catch 3. Upon weft failure, a reciprocating bar 13 is positioned by the weft stop-motion so that at beat-up it lifts an arm 7 pivoted on the catch 3 and by means of a spring 11 raises the catch 3. Movement of the catch 3 is limited by a projection 12 thereon engaging an adjustable stirrup 16. Further movement of the slay and arm 7 extends the spring. When the slay moves back, the arm 7 is lowered by the spring and the wheel 1 returns to its original position, after being moved by the pawl 2, since the catch 3 is raised. Finally, the catch 3 is lowered and re-engages the tooth on the wheel 1 from which it was raised so that neither the take-up nor the let-off have been operated. The weft stop motion knocks off the loom.
