PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the visibility of a selected image even when a display section is small, and enable easy selection of a desired image even when the number of images to be selected is large. SOLUTION: A storage section 13 stores image data relating to content to be reproduced. A display section 12 displays the image data as an image. An operation section 11 receives an instruction to scroll the image data in an arbitrary direction. A control section 10 virtually places the image data over n rows in the vertical direction and m columns in the horizontal direction, and when the number of image data is not a multiple of m, the control section causes the display section to display a part of a combined image obtained by adding a void portion to the image data so that the resulting image data is a multiple of m. When the operation section outputs the instruction to scroll in an arbitrary direction, if the void portion is present in a direction specified by the operation section, the control section prohibits scrolling in the specified direction from the image located immediately before the void portion.
